ESMA presents methodology for climate risk stress testing and analysis of the financial impact of greenwashing controversies
The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the EU’s financial markets regulator and supervisor, have published two articles, one outlining an approach to modelling the impact of asset price shocks from adverse scenarios involving climate-related risks, the other exploring the use of ESG controversies for the purpose of monitoring greenwashing risk.
ESMA is organising a public webinar on the articles’ findings. The webinar will be held online via Teams on 7 February 2024 from 11:00 to 12:00.
During the webinar, authors of the articles will have a presentation about the articles, which will be followed by a Q&A session.
Interested persons are welcome to register by 2 February 2024 using the registration link.
After the registration deadline ESMA will provide to the registered persons the Teams link for joining the webinar.
