Investor Relations is increasingly expected to play a strategic role alongside executive management and boards, bringing market intelligence, investor insight, and long-term capital markets perspective into the heart of decision-making.
But how aligned are expectations between IR leaders, executive management, and boards?
To explore this, the Danish Investor Relations Society (DIRF) has partnered with Rivel to conduct a Strategic Perception Study on the Impact of Investor Relations.
Over the coming days, senior IROs and C-suite leaders will receive an invitation to participate in this confidential research project.
The study aims to:
• Understand how the IR function is perceived at the most senior levels
• Identify expectation gaps between IR, management, and boards
• Explore how IR contributes to strategy, risk oversight, and long-term shareholder engagement
• Develop practical recommendations to strengthen IR’s strategic impact
The survey takes approximately 15–20 minutes, and all responses will be strictly confidential and reported only in aggregate.
The strength of the findings depends on participation from experienced professionals across the IR community. Your perspective will help ensure the future role of investor relations is shaped by real experience and insight.
If you receive the invitation, we hope you will consider participating.
Thank you for supporting this new initiatives.
