This half day seminar, moderated by Richard Davies – Managing Director of RD:IR will explore the effectiveness of the equity capital markets, including the rise of private equity and debt as a source of alternative funding. How does technology play its part in capital raising? Will blockchain technology provide a mechanism to bring everyone to the highest degree of accountability; and are cryptocurrencies the money of the future? Looking more broadly, guest speakers will also address the changes in US governance under Trump and how the asset managers are fighting back.
