
EFRAG Outreach on Intangible Input on EFRAG Discussion Paper on Better Information on Intangibles – Which is the best way to go? The Confederation of Danish Industry (DI) and FSR – Danish Auditors (FSR) are pleased to invite you to a meeting in Danish Accounting Forum (Dansk Regnskabsforum) on the EFRAG Discussion Paper on Better Information on Intangibles – Which is the best way to go? The discussion paper has been prepared as part of EFRAG’s project “Better information on Intangibles” and analyses different approaches to improve information on intangibles provided in the financial statements as well as in the management report. The Discussion Paper considers information on intangible sources of possible economic benefits. The scope of ‘intangibles’ is thus broader than intangible assets and covers sources of possible economic benefits that would not be controlled by an entity. The Discussion Paper focuses on intangibles used in the entity’s operation and across its value chain as well as future-oriented expenses, and risk and opportunity factors that may affect the future performance. At the meeting EFRAG will present the different approaches and the discussion will be supported by cases and examples from large Danish entities. The main objective of the meeting is to present and gather views and input from participants on major aspects of the Discussion Paper for the EFRAG to consider.
