Chr. Hansen is seeking a Head of IR to continue servicing a well-established IR function. The main purpose of the Head of IR will be to effectively communicate the company’s strategy, financial performance and value proposition to equity investors and analysts. The Head of IR will support a credible and long-term relationship with the capital market. The IRO will report to the CFO and will be based in Hørsholm, Denmark.

 

Your tasks  

  • Lead a high performing IR function (consisting of the Head of IR and one IR Manager) in close co-operation with Corporate Finance, Corporate Communication, Group Legal and other relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Provide support and guidance to the CEO, CFO and Corporate Leadership Team.
  • Develop Chr. Hansen’s investment case (equity story) in a balanced and credible way, including preparation of materials such as annual and quarterly reports, investor presentations, website etc.
  • Educate the Chr. Hansen organization on the relevant legislation covering the capital markets.
  • As part of the Disclosure Committee to ensure full compliance with the relevant legislation and the Company’s Communication Policy across the company at all times.
  • Play a key role in formulating guidance to the market; ensure expectation management is conducted appropriately building the long-term trust of investors.
  • Assume the role of point of contact person within Chr. Hansen for investors, potential investors as well as sell-side analysts. Also represent the company on road shows and at conferences where appropriate.
  • Provide regular feedback and market intelligence to CEO and CFO, as well as the Board of Directors.
  • Develop and monitor performance metrics for the IR function, and provide feedback to the Executive Board Team regarding the investment community’s perception of the company.


Your personal profile

  • Extensive experiences from an IR function of a public listed company and with a proven track record. Either as the Head of IR or as senior member of the IR team in a larger company.
  • Alternatively as an IR advisor, fund manager or highly recognized financial analyst.
  • Strong financial skills demonstrated in analytical environment and comprehensive knowledge of current regulatory environment for public companies.
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, and with a proven track record of building and maintaining an effective network within the investment community.
  • Strong valuation skills.
  • Relevant experience working in a multi-national environment.
  • Experience of working with senior executives. Comfortable advising Board of Directors, Executive Board and engaging with senior investors.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • High level of integrity.
